Hello. I seem to be getting the same problem as Ade. I'm installing CM for the first time. It's my first time to browse to /cm/setup.php yet it's already giving an error mentioned in the subject. Of course the config file doesn't exit. I'm yet to create it. But how can I do that if it's giving me that error? |

You need to have Phprojekt up and running before configuring the CMS module. If the error message says "cm_config.inc.php" then it means the config of the CMS has not been created. You are right, if this is the first time you run cm/setup, then there is no config file. There is a bug in the CMS module (some versions) that when you try to execute the cm/setup.php script, if you are not already logged in Phprojekt, the login page is shown, but the next page is an empty page with the "panic" error message. The solution is to login in Phprojekt as root and then open the cm/setup.php script. Hope this help. Regards, Mario A. Valdez-Ramirez. |

After testing the latest and stable version, I do get a similiar error: ether the "panic" message or (after logging in to PHProjekt first) I get a blank white page that has indeed some source code: <html><head><title>Content management.</title><link rel=stylesheet type="text/css" href="cm-style.css"></head> <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF" leftmargin="20" topmargin="20" rightmargin="20" bottommargin="20"> Do you have any idea what to do? OK - this might help some other people... Read the faq.txt! Enable error_reporting! So I figured out that I had to update PHP to version 4.1.x or greater. The function array_key_exists was not implemented before. This caused all my trouble. Now I can start to evaluate the module. Jens |
