Hi, when connecting to my server to retrieve the products; at the point it says 'getting category list' I get an error saying range check!

I have about 18,000 products and 2900 categories.

Wow! 2900 categories? What are you selling? :shock:

Anyway, next week I'll be releasing a new version of the OSCPMWin application. I will increase the limits (one more time).

Just to let you know, current limits are:
32000 products
2000 categories
2000 manufacturers
16 languages


By the way, I need to test the OSCPMWin application with big stores but I don't have any test data. If you (or anybody) could provide me with a sample SQL data of a big store, it would be really nice. (Of course all data sent to me will be kept confidential). If you are interested, just let me know (send an email to mario@mariovaldez.org).


So, please wait until this weekend, when I'll release the next version. 8)

Yea, That sounds great. I'm going to be selling hand & power tools as well as fixings and hardware. Still getting started!

What will the new limits be? As I will be adding more data over the next few months so the category and product count will probably rise greatly.

And yes, I would be happy to send you a copy of my database once I'm all sorted, for testing purposes only. Of course I haven't been able to test drive OSCPMWin yet becuase of the error so I will let you know what happens after the weekend!

This message is just to state that the OSCPMWin application has this new limits since version 0.1.1.382.

Max products from 32768 to 35000.
Max descriptions from 700000 to 700000.
Max languages from 16 to 20.
Max categories from 2048 to 5000.
Max manufacturers from 2048 to 5000.
Max taxes from 128 to 150.
