please, i need a step-by-step procedure for installation.

I'm quite new to this....and every post i've read so far have been starting either at the middle, tail...or just scraping the surface...pls, can anyone tell me a step-by-step way of installing the oscpm... plss...it's really confusing wen u're amongst alot of software gurus....there are soome of us new here....I'd prefer if u started from the download file...tanx....i really want to installing it on my oscommerce store to make things easier....tanx a bunch...
