You can dl the beta and use it. I know it says it is not ready for a production store but I am able to use it 100% and I have been!! Not to say you will be but it can be usefull for updates here and there. It looks like the last beta was uploaded in april. |

Nice to hear you have had no problems. daz> thanks justin, i have 1400 items in my store daz> so don't want a beta to cock that up though The reason it is still in beta is because of the lack of user reports. I have tested it, I have a local user who use it everyday without problems, but I need more reports (success reports or bug reports or something). The database code was heavily changed, and I am still hesitant to release as non-beta. I understand if you don't want to risk your store with a beta-labeled software. However, most operations in OSCPMWin are pretty safe (meaning, you can screw one product, but would be very hard to screw all your store). Maybe if you select all the products and request a group operation with a relative operand and suddenly your web connection is dropped or your computer crash... well, that would be a problem (but not a catastrophic one). Anyway, the OSCPMWin application also have a backup function so you can create backups of the database with just one click. The only thing missing besides some user reports, is an operation-confirmation code which is not finished (that would let know the OSCPMWin application if the server really made the changes requested or it lost the message). So, a request for all users: if you have used the beta version of OSCPMWin (0.4.1.636 or 0.4.1.636), please let me know how it went. Regards, Mario A. Valdez-Ramirez. |

Hi. I use 636 on my store with no problems. It doesn't seem to work for header tags however, which is a real real shame. Mike A |
