I'm sure some will get a chuckle out of a newbie's pain.

I have been trying to get the configuration right for hours and have added DB users, deleted them, uploaded and reuploaded the .php file, etc. All I kept getting was an error - something like Error 100 : There was an error trying to access the server side script...

Finally, I realized that my zelaous protection of my new online store from prying eyes I had secured the public_html directory using the .htaccess and .htpasswd files. Took that out and it worked fine. DOH!
