Required (server-side):
- Required:
Phprojekt (versions 3.3, 4.0, 4.1 or 4.2).
The CMS module up to version 0.5.0 has been written for Phprojekt 3.3. It may or it may not work with previous versions.
The CMS module from version 0.5.1 has been written for Phprojekt 4.0 and 4.1. It won't work with previous versions by default. (But it includes compatibility script files to work with version 3.3).
The CMS module from version 0.6.0 has been written for Phprojekt 4.1 and 4.2.
- Required:
PHP 4.1.x or higher.
Your web server should be able to interpret the PHP language. It really doesn't matter
the platform (the CM module has been tested in GNU/Linux with Apache and
in Windows 2000 with IIS).
- Required:
A web server (you already have one if you are using Phprojekt).
The CMS module has been tested with Apache and IIS, but it should work with any web server.
- Required:
A SQL server (you already have one if you are using Phprojekt).
The CMS module has been tested with PostgreSQL, mySQL and MS SQL, but should work also
with Oracle, Informix and Interbase.
Optional (server-side):
- Optional:
GD library (compiled in php) version 1.8 or 2.0.
Recommended: GD version 2.0.
Chances are your PHP distribution already has GD 2.0 support included.
The CMS module has been tested also with GD 1.8, but the generated images
(album thumbnails and statistics graphs) have not the highest quality. Older versions
of the CMS module required the GD library, newer versions (>0.4.8) can be installed
without this library.
Required (client-side):
- Required:
A web browser.
Any HTML 4.0/CSS 2 compatible browser can be used on
any platform. The CMS module has been tested with
Mozilla 1.x and
Netscape 6.x on Linux,
with Mozilla 1.x, Netscape 6.x/7.x, Opera 7.x and
Internet Explorer 5.5/6.x on Windows Me/2000/XP.
The WYSIWYG HTML editor requires Mozilla 1.3 (or higher), Netscape 7.1 (or higher) or
Internet Explorer 5.5 (or higher).
Please note that some platform/browser mixtures have some glitches, for example
Internet Explorer 5 in Windows 3.11 (which doesn't support PNG images).
Also, using text-only browsers (like
lynx or
links) is possible, though
you will see some minor layout problems.
